About Us
Maryland Aquarium Hobbyists is a club that is based in central MD, with members also from PA, VA, DE, DC, and WV. We pride ourselves on the diversity in our club, we have members of all ages and from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome to join us! Encouraging sustainability within the fishkeeping hobby is a core value of MAH, and we strive to educate our members on how they can help this mission.
Our Aquarium Club Venue
Our Maryland Aquarium Hobbyist meetings are held at Upperco VFD Activities Center in Upperco, MD. Previously, we met in Timonium but we quickly outgrew the small space. Upperco can comfortably fit up to 400 people! We are super excited about this new venue and that our rental fee goes towards supporting the volunteer fire department's operations. We think this is truly a win-win!
